Cookie Policy
This policy explains how ResumeEase uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What we use
Essential (always on)
- Authentication tokens and sign-in flags (identity-provider browser storage such as keys prefixed
CognitoIdentityServiceProvideror Firebase IndexedDB storage, plus lightweight signed-in flag cookies): keep you signed in and secure your session. Lifetime: until sign-out or token expiry. - Payment-provider cookies: set by PayPal on their hosted payment pages for payment security and fraud prevention. See PayPal's cookie policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, privacy-respecting usage metrics to improve the product.
2. Your choices
- Browser settings can block cookies entirely, but essential storage is required to sign in.
- Browser extensions and ad-blockers can prevent analytics scripts from loading.
3. Changes
If we add new cookie categories, we will update this policy.
